Communications on circumstances other than those indicated above are not treated as reports.
Anyone who performs a task or function within or on behalf of IED that decides to follow bale an offense of which he is a witness. Employees, managers, collaborators and suppliers may be reporting.
The reports are managed by the Supervisory Body (ODV) of IED S.B.p.A., an autonomous and independent body composed of three members external to the company structure , according to the timing indicated in the Whistleblowing Policy .
The report must be made in good faith, be detailed, well founded and, therefore, based on elements precise and concordant. The report must contain sufficient and detailed information to allow the necessary investigations to be initiated.
The Supervisory Body of IED S.B.p.A., an autonomous body independent from the corporate structure, examines all reports received, treating them strictly confidential and undertakes to guarantee maximum confidentiality on the subjects and facts reported, as well as on the identity of the whistleblower. Anonymous reports will be evaluated without prejudice to the difficulty or impossibility of contacting, where necessary , the anonymous whistleblower to ask for his cooperation and obtain further information necessary for the verification of the reported facts. If, also in relation to anonymous reports, the whistleblower provides information containing identification data, the latter will be managed by the ODV with the necessary confidentiality
The staff specifically designated, it preliminarily examines the reports received and carries out all the necessary activities to ascertain the validity (or not) of the same. The facts and information reported in the reports are therefore carefully verified and, on the basis of the findings and findings, the most appropriate prevention, mitigation or sanctioning measures are adopted.
